Start your breakfast off
with grapefruit segments or fruit compote stewed with blackcurrant,
vanilla and cinnamon.
Choose orange, apple or grapefruit juice.
Moving onto the cooked

Local cured bacon from
Award winning sausages from Heards butchers, Bideford,
Laver cake, bubble & squeak or potato pancakes - alternatively smiles,
potato fritters or fried teddies!
Farm fresh free range organic happy healthy eggs - fried, scrambles,
boiled or poached, from Hemmingway eggs, in the village,
Add in mushrroms, tomatoes with a hint of rosemary, and a slice of
fried bread.Follow this with white or wholemeal toast with local
butter and preserves which are homemade when possible and fruit is
in season.Teas and coffee from Miles of Porlock.
2 Course Meal - Chicken wrapped in bacon with a ginger wine and mushroom
sauce served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes followed by
raspberry roulade served with clotted cream. Coffee and tea
with mints to round it off.
Meal - add a starter of smoked mackeral pate with salad and finish with
cheeseboard of local cheeses and biscuits.
